Administration Orders.

What is an Administration order?

These apply if you have a number of small debts to a total maximum of £5,000.

If this is the case, you can apply to the court for an Administration Order.

What are the advantages?

• You will pay the court one regular amount you can afford and they distribute it to the creditors on your behalf, although a small charge is made.
• Whilst an Administration Order is in force, your creditors are forced to stop hounding you and are obliged to accept the payments made via the court office.
• If you pay your Administration Order instalments regularly, the court may agree to write off any remaining debts after three years, giving you a fresh start.

How do I qualify?

• You must have at least 2 debts
• One of the debts must be a county or high court judgement
• Your total debts must not be more than five thousand pounds.
